Freddie Stavins was born and raised in Champaign, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2017 with a BBA in Accounting, and in 2018 with a Masters of Accountancy before beginning his career at Deloitte in Chicago. Following a relocation to Seattle in 2020, he worked at several public accounting firms in the Pacific Northwest providing tax compliance and consulting for high net-worth individuals, families, and small businesses. He enjoys multi-generational client service, and helping clients understand and navigate their taxes.  He joined BDM in 2025, and continues to focus on individual, fiduciary, and business tax. His time outside of the office is most frequently spent in the company of his wife and dog. He also loves hiking, running, weightlifting, and cross-country skiing during the Montana winters.
